I welcome the announcement that Broughty Ferry YMCA has been awarded a grant of £9,050 from the Awards for All Scotland fund.
I am delighted that Broughty Ferry YMCA have been awarded these funds. I am hugely supportive of their ambitions to create a ‘quiet space’ for members of the public, and their hopes to aim their work and engage with four specific groups within the community.
I admire the aspiration for this project to encourage cross-intergenerational work, but to also give an area of tranquillity back to the community, and to promote looking after our wildlife and environment.
Well done to all involved, and I look forward to seeing the garden once it’s complete.
